Centre33 is a safe and inclusive space for  children and youth in 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.

We are curators of 2SLGBTQIA+ visibility and strive to provide trauma-informed, culturally competent, and neurodivergent-affirming support as we walk alongside our participants.

Vision

Centre33 strives to empower 2SLGBTQIA+ children and youth through advocacy, support and opportunities that foster communities where diversity is celebrated, equality is embraced, and every individual can live authentically and without fear of discrimination. We are committed to creating values that celebrate the inherent worth of every person, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. By working together, we can purposefully challenge systemic barriers and cultivate a more inclusive and equitable society.

Creating a welcoming environment where all 2SLGBTQIA+ youth feel valued, respected, and able to participate fully. Inclusion means embracing diversity and removing barriers to ensure everyone has a place and voice in the community.

Celebrate

Honoring and uplifting the identities, contributions, and achievements of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. Celebration fosters pride, joy, and self-expression, encouraging youth to embrace their authentic selves and be proud of who they are.

Support

Providing a safe, nurturing space with resources, mentorship, and encouragement to help youth thrive. Support includes offering emotional, mental health, and practical assistance tailored to the unique needs of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.

Advocate

Championing the rights and well-being of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth through community action, policy change, and raising awareness. Advocacy empowers youth to have a voice and work towards systemic change for greater equality and inclusion.

Centre33, in Kanata, Ottawa, is a community organization dedicated to supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ children, youth, and their families. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and accessible space that fosters visibility and empowerment within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. We are neurodivergent-affirming.
